Raeford has enjoyed a successful career as a designer, photographer and commercial artist, receiving numerous honors including seven Emmy Awards for his work in scenic art for broadcast. His photography has appeared in international publications such as National Geographic Traveler, New York, The Atlantic and Oprah Magazines, and as scenic backgrounds on CNN, HBO and NBC among others; as well as featured in numerous galleries and exhibitions.

 

His specialties include architectural interiors, portrait driven documentary style narratives, photo murals for television and film backgrounds as well as high end retouching.

 

Raeford has trained with many masters of the photographic craft at the International Center of Photography in New York City and is an active member of The American Society of Media Photographers.

 

His education includes Outdoor Educator and Avalanche Rescue training from the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Wilderness First Responder Certification from SOLO Wilderness Medical School and he is a ‘leave no trace’ Master Educator. Raeford is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, skiing, scuba diving, and surfing.
